Should You Block Them?

Blocking third-party cookies is a reasonable step for most people. Here is what happens when you do:

  • Safari blocks most cross-site tracking automatically.

Cookies Are Just One Part of Tracking

Blocking cookies helps, but companies also use other methods like browser fingerprinting and tracking pixels. For broader protection, consider using a privacy-focused browser or browser extension that blocks multiple types of trackers. Every step you take makes it harder for companies to build a complete profile of your online activity.
